Starting Reception

Welcome to Castle Bromwich Infant and Nursery school, we would like to begin by thanking you for choosing our school for your child to begin their learning journey, we would like to extend a warm welcome to you and your family from our school community.

Due to the current Covid 19 situation our transition process will be different to past years, we are unable to hold induction meetings or evenings for parents. We have set up this part of the website to answer any concerns or questions you may have and to support your child in beginning their journey in school.

We will be using email to correspond with parents regarding the transition process so please ensure the school office has your email address to contact you.

A Tour of Our Reception Outdoor Provision

The outdoors plays a crucial role in our provision for the children, access to the outdoors allows for children to develop and explore concepts at a deeper level, particularly scientific concepts such as seasonal change. The outdoors also supports the emotional well being of children and enables them to have both healthy bodies and minds.
