School to School Support – Overview of Unity Membership Offer

As part of the Alliance membership we support each other in:

Bespoke school to school support (Leadership, English, Maths, EYFS, mainstream & Specialist SEND support) using school priorities and audit findings to tailor the required support.  This work will be monitored and the impact will be measured appropriately

Give teachers the opportunity to become SLE’s and also Senior SLE’s who will have a role in shaping the support given to schools.  We will ensure that they go through a rigorous process to become SLE’s and also training in coaching & mentoring.  This will strengthen our Alliance and also be excellent professional development for staff.

We will be offering a comprehensive package of CPLD (relevant to the current needs of our schools) including support packages for NQT’s and leadership at all levels

Confidential (open & transparent) sharing of data and school needs to help the support given to have the best impact.

A joint responsibility and accountability across our Alliance for the needs of schools (staff & pupils) and appropriate support packages for the needs of the School

Paperwork that will enable schools to show the impact of the work and value for money which can be shared with your governors

Opportunities to have a wider discussion around the education landscape with DfE, Local Authorities, professional organisations and other Teaching School Alliances

Opportunities for leadership teams to feel supported and know that the Alliance will be there to support whenever possible
